What We Offer
Creative Joy Collective offers welcoming art-making experiences designed to help people slow down, relieve stress, and reconnect with their creativity. Below are the different ways you can participate—from workshops and memberships to retreats and corporate programs.
No artistic experience required.
No prep. No pressure. Just joy.
Our Art-Making Experiences
Creative Joy Collective offers guided art-making experiences designed to help people slow down, relieve stress, and reconnect with their creativity.
Most of our experiences center on the practice of art journaling—a flexible and accessible form of creative expression that combines drawing, collage, color, and writing. No artistic experience is required, and all supplies are provided.
During a typical session, participants are guided step-by-step through a creative project while exploring techniques that encourage relaxation, curiosity, and self-expression. Some participants choose to create a stand-alone project using the materials provided, while others choose to work directly inside an art journal they continue to build over time.
Whether you join a workshop, retreat, or membership event, the goal is the same: to create a welcoming space where creativity feels easy, restorative, and pressure-free.
What is an Art Journal?
Many of us are familiar with keeping a journal to capture our thoughts, ideas, or experiences. An art journal builds on that idea by combining words and visual creativity.
An art journal is simply a place where you can explore your thoughts and feelings through creative expression. Instead of writing alone, you might use color, images, textures, or simple drawing techniques to capture what you’re thinking or feeling in the moment.
Your art journal can include things like:
- Sketches and doodles
- Experiments with new materials
- Written reflections
- Layered collage
- Memory keeping
- Poetry or meaningful quotes
- Hand lettering
- Color and illustration
- Mixed media art
You might keep one journal for a long time, or many journals over the years. Some people share their journals openly, while others keep them completely private.
The purpose of art journaling is not to create perfect art. The value is in the practice itself. It’s a place to unwind, process thoughts and emotions, and reconnect with creativity in a relaxed and personal way.
Creative Joy Collective offers several ways to experience art journaling and creative wellness—from individual workshops to retreats and corporate programs.
